How To Enrol

The process of online admission

  • The parent has to fill up the online enquiry form
  • They can also call up the mobile which is mentioned in the website for more information.
  • The admission counsellor will give the infomation about school and fees.
  • Then they have to fill up the online admission form
  • Post that they can pay the fees by online .

2. General Admission Policy 2024-25

  • Admission is open to all children irrespective of race, religion, caste, nationality or gender.
  • Only 30 children per class, per division.
  • Due to our own pre-primary students and Sibling admissions, we have limited seats available for Std I.
  • Sibling (only directly related ones) will be given preference when a seat is vacant.
  • The child needs to fulfill age criteria as stipulated by State Government.
  • Foreign nationals need to secure appropriate Visa / Resident Permit and submit all relevant documents at the time of admission.
  • Parents will be called for further process of admission after registration, which will strictly be on First Come First Serve Basis/entrance tests.
  • Wait listed students are called for admission process only if there is a vacancy created any time throughout the year.
  • Admission process includes “Level Readiness Check” . This may also be treated as pre-diagnosis, if any, for special needs.
  • Children with special learning needs, abilities and challenges will be discussed on case to case basis.
  • The School Managing Committee’s decision is final in this regard.
  • Family interaction : This is a compulsory part of the process and mandatory for both the parents to attend. It is not a formal interview but an opportunity for both the school authorities and the parents to ask questions, clarify doubts/queries and get to know one another.

3. Documents for admission:

It is compulsory for parents to carry the following documents at the time of admission process.

  • Original Birth Certificate or duly attested copy if copies of originals not available.
  • Aadhar Card copy for Indian Nationals and Passport copy for Foreign Nationals.
  • Caste certificate (if other than general or open caste) in the name of the student.
  • Special Diagnosis if any (Medical/ Learning Disability etc).
  • Kindergarten certificate ( if applicable ).
  • Legal document if any custody / visitation rights ( if applicable ).
  • Foreign National –appropriate permission documents

4. Procedure for Admission

REGISTRATION>

  • The registration process will be active only till the vacancies are filled.
  • For the Registration
  • Keep all necessary information handy (caste, date of birth etc.) before you
  • visit the school.
  • Give correct contact details as this is the crucial link for further communication.
  • School will not be responsible for any delays / failure to submit documents or any other related snags from your side.
  • Fully filled and submitted form will be considered and no other proof will be entertained to ascertain the registration.

After Regisration: Communication From School

  • You will receive a mail and telephone call in 3 working days, regarding further process of admission (through first cum first registration basis,) with the date and time for the Family interaction.

  • Level Readiness Check and Family meet is usually scheduled on Saturdays to facilitate presence of both the parents.
  • The process will be throughout the day. Each parent will be given a time slot. If you receive an afternoon slot, ensure that your child is fed and taken afternoon nap so that he/ she is able to perform well in the Level Readiness.
  • Check and is active throughout the process.
  • Kindly confirm your appointment via email or a telephonic call. Failure to turn up for the meet will cancel your admission registration.

For Family Interaction

  • A charge of Rs. 1000/- will be applicable for Admission Form.
  • Admission form to be duly signed by both the parents.
  • Aadhar Card of the child is required for the form.
  • It is compulsory for both the parents to attend the Family Meet.
  • Submission of all the relevant documents is mandatory.
  • If you are not a resident of Pune, you may complete the registration process; However, you need to complete the formalities of provisional admission.
  • Finalization of Admission
  • After the level readiness check & Family interaction , the admission is granted.
  • Parents need to further pay school fees in 7 working days and confirm the admission further .
  • With regards to monetary transactions, Parents can make payments via Online Payment (Debit/Credit Card Payment, Internet Banking)Bank charges Applicable.
  • Demand Draft to be given in Favour of: Suryadatta Education Foundation
  • Details for Provisional Admission [ For Outstation Parents]

Process for Obtaining Provisional Admission:

  • Following formalities have to be completed .
  • Submit Registration form.
  • Submit documents and pay necessary fees.
  • The Admission is confirmed only when the level readiness check and family meet happens as and when parents come to school.
  • If you cancel the admission due to some reason, the one- time admission fee is NOT refunded back.
  • This admission process must get completed at the earliest for the child to benefit the learning process.
  • Parents to come for further process of admission by dates as per Admission Calender beyond which the provisional admission cannot be extended, unless with special permission from the Principal.

5. Age Criteria as on 30th September 2024

STD I 6 yrs complete as on 30th September 2024

6. School Timings

  • 08.30am – 03.00pm( Mon to Fri)
  • 08.30am – 12.30pm( Saturday for Std VIII to XII th only)
  • Students who may need special inputs / remediation may be required to come on extra Saturdays to bridge the gaps.

Some Important Points To Note:-

  • Registration form is valid for one Academic year only.
  • Wait listed students are called for admission process only if there is a vacancy created any time throughout the year before TERM II starts.
  • Admission process is carried out and “Level readiness Check” is conducted for the following subjects for different class levels.
  • STD I: Simple conversation to check comprehension and Basic concepts.
  • STD II, III & IV: Written level readiness check for Mathematics & English
  • STD V: Written level readiness check for Mathematics, English.
  • VI to X: Written and Entrance for Mathematics, English & Hindi/ Marathi
  • STD IX & X: Written Entrance for Mathematics, English & Science.
  • Children with special learning needs, abilities and challenges will be discussed on case to case basis.
  • If the child fails to clear the level readiness check (due to fear, phobia or known trauma of previous school experience), the child may be evaluated on one to one basis to see his / her readiness for the class and decision is made accordingly.

7. Admission Withdrawal Policy

Application Process:

  • This process is effective only through written communication in form of an application.
  • Telephonic messages/ Verbal communication or an email will not be considered authentic.
  • Written application to be given before the due date of school fees to the school office.
  • Transfer Certificate form to be filled which is given from school office and should be duly signed by both the parents as signed at the time of admission.
  • If the parent is a single parent/ any legal case pending/ a decree etc. submission of relevant documents is mandatory.
  • Without the appropriate documents, the school leaving certificate will not be processed.

We also require the following documents.

  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Last Report Card
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Two Passport Size Photograph of Student
  • Two Passport Size Photograph of Parents (Separate)

Pre-Primary

Admissions at the School are restricted to Nursery, Jr KG, Sr KG and STD 1 .

Admissions to all other classes are against vacancies that may arise only against transfer cases. Interested applicants may apply at admissions@suryadatta.edu.in.

Primary

A) In the case of students who are Indian Citizens:

  • Fitness Certificate
  • Photos of the student – 4 no’s
  • Photos of parents and Guardian – 1 each
  • School leaving certificate (original)
  • Birth Certificate (photocopy)
  • Report card of Current Academic Year
  • Aadhar card

B) In the case of overseas students:

  • Passport of the student and parents. (Photocopy). Original to be brought for verification.
  • Valid visa documents of the student and parents. (photocopy)
  • Introduction letter from the Company (original), if applicable.
  • Photos of the student – 4 no’s
  • Health Card (photocopy)
  • Current school Transcripts (original)
  • Letter of recommendation from the Principal/facilitator of the current school (original).

Request for Information

We are happy to provide prospective parents and students with information about Suryadatta, its Philosophy, and Academic Curriculum. We encourage all interested parents to visit our campus and meet our Counselor & Principal for further understanding. We also have a school prospectus that gives a bird’s eye view of the Academic program and the facilities. Extra copies are available from the admissions office on the payment of Rs.1000/-.

An appointment with the school admissions office is necessary for security reasons.

Fee Payment Schedule:

  • Payment of Registration Fee, Admission Fee, and Prospectus: At the time of Admission.
  • You can commence the enrolment process by following the procedures outlined below.

Alternatively:

  • Tuition Fees, After School Activities Fees are Payable in 2 Instalments:
  • 1st Instalment: By 10th April 2024/At the time of admission
  • 2nd Instalment: By 10th October 2024.

School Fee Guidelines:

  • The fee is payable by cash / DD at the school Accounts office Or via Online Transfer.
  • The fee will be received from 9:00 am to 4 pm only.
  • In the following cases, students will be re-admitted only on payment of re-admission fee at the discretion of the Principal:
    1. If the child is withdrawn willingly by the parents.
    2. If the name is struck-off on disciplinary measures.
    3. On account of long absence or non-payment of school dues in the same month.
  • No student will be allowed to sit in the Assessments as well as any other Examination if the dues are not cleared.
  • Fee paid receipts must be produced whenever required by the school authorities.
  • Non-production of receipts will be treated as non-payment of dues.
  • Board Exam and other External Examinations conducted in school will be charged extra. Dues once paid are not refundable in any case.
  • No deletion/alteration of any amount is permissible.
